Delete your ShopSmart account

You can delete your account at any time, from the app or from here. It can’t be undone.

In the app

  1. Open ShopSmart and tap your initial at the top right.
  2. Tap Delete account.
  3. Tap Delete my account to confirm. You’ll need an internet connection.

It happens straight away, and ShopSmart is removed from your other phones the next time they connect.

NO LONGER HAVE THE APP?

By email

  1. Email hello@shopsmart.ai with the subject Delete my account.
  2. Send it from the email address you signed in with. If you used Apple’s “Hide My Email”, tell us that address instead.
  3. We’ll check it’s you, delete the account within 30 days, and reply to confirm.

What gets deleted

  • Your account and ShopSmart’s link to your Apple or Google sign-in
  • Your fridge list
  • Your rescue record and “$ saved”

What we keep

Nothing from your account. Our automatic backups are kept for 7 days, so any copy of your data in them is destroyed within 7 days. If you emailed support, those emails are deleted 12 months after your last message.

Your shelf photos were never uploaded, so there’s nothing of them to delete.
